Moving from Junior Cycle to Senior Cycle is an important decision for both students and parents. This transition should be carefully considered through discussions at home, supported by relevant information.
Our Senior Cycle Parental Information Night, held on Tuesday, March 18th at 7:30 PM, provided key insights into the options available. This information has also been shared with students in school. For parents who were unable to attend, please find below the essential details and important actions required.
(1) Senior Cycle Programme Choice Form
All parents of current Third and Transition Year students must complete the Senior Cycle Programme Choice Form by Friday, March 21st at 1:00 PM. CLICK HERE
*** Please note that the Leaving Certificate Applied Programme (LCA) at Coláiste Mhuire Askeaton is subject to sufficient numbers. If the programme cannot run, Coláiste Mhuire has secured places in the LCA programme at Further Education & Training Centre Shanagolden for Coláiste Mhuire students upon referral.
(2) Subject Options for Leaving Certificate Established
Following the closure of programme choices on Friday, March 21st, parents of students opting for Leaving Certificate Established (2025–2027) will receive an SMS and VSware notification to input subject choices. The deadline for this is Thursday, April 10th at 1:00 PM.
